Melanie Hunter, Rider University and Erika Ortiz, Rutgers University Recognized!

 

Rider University student Melanie Hunter wins the 2013 GSC-SHRM Annual Human Resource Leadership Scholarship for Undergraduate Students

The Garden State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management (GSC-SHRM) has announced Melanie Hunter as the undergraduate student winner of its Human Resource Leadership Scholarship. As an undergraduate student at Rider University, Melanie’s clear interest and exceptional talent in the area of human resource management garnered her this prestigious honor granted to only one undergraduate student in the state.

Beginning this year, GSC-SHRM awarded two scholarshipsr in the amount of $1,000 to an outstanding undergraduate and graduate student studying human resource management or a related field at a New Jersey institute of higher education. As this year’s graduate winner, Melanie beat out a number of other worthy competitors to win this award, joining graduate student honoree Erika Ortiz of Rutgers University

Erika was selected from a number of other worthy competitors for this award, joining undergraduate student honoree Melanie Hunter of Rider University.
