The #MeToo Movement: Effective Strategies to Create Harmony and Reduce Risks in the Workplace
An organization does not need to be a cable news network, a Hollywood production company, a casino mogul, a judge or a politician, to feel the impact of the recent wave of sexual misconduct scandals. Employers, Human Resources professionals, and in-house counsel must be proactive in creating a harassment-free workplace and, in turn, creating a more harmonious and productive work environment. Organizations must be knowledgeable and strategic regarding how to prevent and react when claims are made and actions to take before issues arise.
Presented by the Jersey Shore Association of Human Resources (https://jsahr.shrm.org/), please join our distinguished panel comprised of an attorney who represents management in employment matters, an experienced mediator who regularly mediates employment disputes, and an insurance underwriting professional in the area of management liability insurance, all of whom will provide strategies to properly assess risk and proactive approaches to confront such risks in order to minimize the possibility of potential claims. We hope you will take this opportunity to participate in a conversation that matters, hear unique and diverse perspectives from leaders in the field, and engage our panelists in questions that concern your business.
Panel Members: Robyn Aversa, Esq., Jackson Lewis P.C., Morristown, Susan Sangillo-Bellifemine, Esq., Mediator/Arbitrator, Susan Sangillo Bellifemine LLC,Jessica Sautello, Account Executive in Management Liability Insurance, Travelers
